HST BAKERSFIELD 2016

The purpose of this seminar was to promote, a high level of knowledge of high-speed railway technologies, for a selection of senior students, graduate engineers, and specialized professionals, in order to provide and expand a resource base for the development of high-speed rail in California, as well as, to bring students into contact with multinational leaders in these technologies.

WHY DID PEOPLE ATTEND?

Numerous employments are going to be created in this sector. The aim of this course was to prepare engineers to achieve the best possible Knowledge, by the hand of international  experts in railway technology. 

Thus, our students, put in practice their profession in these employments under the direction of Antonio Arribas and Eduardo Romo, engineers with over 25 years of experience in designing systems for high-speed railways.

 

WHAT KIND OF SUBJECTS WERE TAUGHT?

The seminar had numerous masterclasses divided in 3 days, the topics of them were: track, telecommunication, signalling and catenary. In the previous day, important institutions such as CHSRA and prestigious Railway Companies gave different speeches about the High speed railway in California.
