ASSEMBLY MEMBERS FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA VISITED SPAIN

A Delegation of Assembly Members from the State of Cailfornia, led by the President of the Transport Commission of the Assembly, visited Spain invited by the ICEX on July 18, 19 and 20. A selection of companies explained the details of the Spanish high speed railway(Auxitec, FCC, Sener, etc) in the offices of ICEX in Madrid and on the last day, they visited the HS Guadarrama tunnel (one of the most spectacular works of the world), and the city of Segovia. During the whole visit they were assited by Eurif.
The Californian delegation was formed by 10 relevant members of the state's transportation world, of which 6 were elected members of the California Assembly and members of the Sacramento-based transportation Commission.
One of the conclusions of this visit was that the geography of California and Spain have similar characteristics and this makes Spanish companies stronger candidates to participate in the California  HS project
The President of Eurif explained to them the 4 editions of HSTCalifornia that we have already done and they liked it a lot, giving to Eurif their support for future editions.
